You’ll be responsible for coordinating all design activities, implementation of client design standards, development of contract documents – drawings, specifications, reports, cost estimates, and equipment sourcing documents, design reviews, value engineering and quality management. You’ll be responsible for developing strong client relations through daily communication, meeting preparation, attendance, documentation, and regular reporting of task and project status. Additionally, you’ll serve as a liaison between clients, agencies, subcontractors and design teams. - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Previous experience successfully leading design/construction teams on new and/or renovation aviation projects in excess of $5M
- Professional Engineer License (P.E.)
- Good listening, writing and communication skills
- Able to present data in an organized fashion
- Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Demonstrated experience working on successful projects with public agencies
- Progressive experience as an engineer and project manager in the airfield design field
- Knowledge of FAA Advisory Circulars
- Knowledge of airside and landside design, planning aspects and facilities
