Job Summary (Primary function)
Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities)
• Lead the development and implementation of an integrated marketing strategy focused on healthcare professionals to achieve business objectives and sales targets
• Develop and execute promotional programs and tactics, manage through the MLR process and ensure alignment and integration across channels
• Develop patient-facing programs and support advocacy efforts
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Sales, Sales Operations and other key functional areas including Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Legal
• Coordination with Commercial Analysis and Market Insights to incorporate program learnings and customer insights into future initiatives
• Work closely with key oncology stakeholders including nurses, hospitals, office staff, GPOs, and professional societies.
• Develop and maintain a high degree of therapeutic area knowledge
• Ensure seamless sharing of information, best practices, and lessons learned across the organization
• Budget preparation and maintenance
• Perform all company business in accordance with regulations and company policies and procedures
Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)
• 5 - 8+ years work experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology marketing including launch experience of new products or indications
• Experience working with external vendors on a day-to-day basis and managing promotional budgets
• Ability to collaborate closely with agencies and other team members
• Experience developing multi-channel promotional plans for pharmaceutical or biotechnology products
• Specialty pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience preferred including experience in hematology, oncology, or inflammation
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage project autonomously
• Strong communication, presentation, analytic and strategic capabilities
• Launch experience strongly preferred
