We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Manager to support our Structure Engineering teams & supplier partners in Direct Supply Chain components & parts sourcing
Fully own the commercial relationship with supplier partners and responsible for price negotiation, continuity of supply and risk mitigation
Continuously drive cost efficiency through commercial contract negotiation, VAVE (Value-Analysis and Value Engineering) initiatives and design changes
Monitor global industry trends, track technology roadmap, and actively partner with the Design Engineering teams to introduce the optimal material, manufacturing process and technologies
Effectively communicating with Tesla’s Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering stakeholders, as well as operations, supply quality engineers to ensure the successful launch of new vehicles
What You’ll Bring
Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Chemistry, Engineering, or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability
2+ years of experience in supply chain management or commodity management associated to metal stamping
Technical and commercial understanding of tooling and manufacturing processes on metal forming is preferred
