What You’ll Do What You’ll Bring
- Owner of RFQ's and contract management - ensure Non-Disclosure Agreements, General Terms & Conditions, Piece Price Agreements, and other related contracts are negotiated, agreed and appropriately documented before business is initiated
- We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Manager to support our Structure Engineering teams & supplier partners in Direct Supply Chain components & parts sourcing
- Fully own the commercial relationship with supplier partners and responsible for price negotiation, continuity of supply and risk mitigation
- Continuously drive cost efficiency through commercial contract negotiation, VAVE (Value-Analysis and Value Engineering) initiatives and design changes
- Monitor global industry trends, track technology roadmap, and actively partner with the Design Engineering teams to introduce the optimal material, manufacturing process and technologies
- Effectively communicating with Tesla’s Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering stakeholders, as well as operations, supply quality engineers to ensure the successful launch of new vehicles
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Chemistry, Engineering, or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain management or commodity management associated to metal stamping
- Technical and commercial understanding of tooling and manufacturing processes on metal forming is preferred
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
