Some responsibilities include:- Develop and conduct user-centered research to inform or validate design- Advocate for a large and diverse customer base throughout the design cycle- Creatively incorporate human diversity into the design process- Conduct technical data collections and analyses of qualitative and quantitative data- Provide visually-focused clear and concise analytical feedback, informed by experimental data, statistics, and data from 3rd party sources- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, engineering, algorithms, quality, marketing, retail and a wide range of other groups- Lead other researchers on the design and execution of generative and evaluative research to support product design and development (including but not limited to ethnography, interviews, surveys, concept testing, and usability studies)- Stay current on market trends, competitor products, relevant published literature and UI/ UX/human factors research strategies- Effectively prioritize and fluidly transition between of a wide range of concurrent projects
