Applied Materials’ MPO ManufacturingEngineering Department issearching for an intern to join our team in summer 2025! The Manufacturing Engineering position is dynamic, activities and assignments may change day-to-day. The position will entail the following:

• Manufacturing point of contact for resolving design and manufacturability issues

• Generate and manage engineering specification waivers

• Drive engineering corrective actions

• Work instruction creation and updates

• Design manufacturing jigs and fixtures

• Facilitate manufacturing process improvements

  • Value stream mapping

  • Material routing

  • Material presentation

  • Tooling presentation

  • Build sequencing

Requirements

• Student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• Experience in Teamcenter, SAP, Windchill and CREOpreferred.

• Mechanical or Industrial engineering experience in LEAN manufacturing assembly processes, and work instructions preferred.

• Motivated, driven, and self-starter.

• Must be able to manage dynamic priorities.
