Working as a Solutions Engineer, you'll be at the heart of the sales process. By partnering with engineering and business teams, you will become the technical expert our customers rely on. You'll play a pivotal role in designing innovative solutions and building relationships with major customers in Italy.
As a Solutions Engineer II, you will be responsible for:
- Demonstrating Akamai's technology to customers and designing technical solutions to meet our customer's needs and business goals
- Building and growing relationships with customers' decision-makers to articulate Akamai's value proposition and build future revenue opportunities
- Managing the technical proposal process and ensuring all technical information and recommendations addressing customer requirements are accurate
- Working closely with sales to develop opportunities through presentations, consultations, demonstrations, analysis reports and proof of concepts
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 3-4 years of expertise in Pre-sales or Post-sales technical solutions roles
- Have a passion for cloud technologies, internet applications design, and networking
- Have familiarity with application and network security
- Have experience in presenting technical topics and possess excellent communication skills for both technical and management audiences.
- Demonstrate excellent collaboration and teamwork skills
- Have experience in navigating and solving issues in rapidly evolving contexts
- Be fluent in Italian and English
