What you’ll achieve

As a Director of Software Engineering, you will be responsible for driving a global development team spanning multiple functions. You will work with Product Management, Program Management, Architecture, Procurement and others to deliver our client software solutions to customers with on time and with high quality.

You will:

• Develop long-range plans and creates specific strategies to achieve goals.
• Be responsible for establishing objectives for software development teams and manage these teams to ensure that goals are met within specified timeframe and products/projects meet quality standards.
• Participate in and be accountable for cross functional initiatives and collaboration, which may have significant impact on business results.
• Anticipate future business needs, make suggestions, and implement policies that affect areas of the company outside your own functional area.
• Serve as a technical consultant and technical expert; sphere of influence may include people outside of company.

Essential Requirements

• Manage teams in multiple disciplines, functions, and locations.
• Steer software application development teams that are focused on Windows development/programming in C# (on .NET Framework/.NET Core).
• Collaborate with firmware, hardware and cloud teams to build solutions for our customers.
• Use judgment to develop strategic vision within functional area. Implement operational policies and directives and communicates progress toward goals and objectives.
• Develop team members by providing challenging yet appropriate assignments, evaluate their work, and communicate progress toward career development and goals.

Desirable Requirements

• Requires 15-22 years of software application development experience in a professional role
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience at the Director / Senior Director level
