Is the single point of contact for assigned businesses & Regions on all Procurement related topicscovering Demand Management tocategory strategies with a view to provide procurement solutions for addressing the business challenges.
Gains stakeholder insights about Business/ Region objectives, strategies, requirements, and priorities by deep listening and understanding.
Builds deep B/R insights and collaborates with the Business Leader and Heads of Finance to identify enterprise-wide opportunities to drive revenue/value generation and operating cost optimization.
Brings business insights as input to Global Category Management teams.
Leverages and interlink best practices, (cost) category and B/R insights with the situational dossier to constantly challenge status quo and bring compelling solutions to the table which matter to stakeholder priorities.
Ensures that B/R objectives and requirements are well understood by all relevant Procurement functions to co-create and improve the (category strategies and programs
Drives Global Procurement initiatives into the respective businesses and regions to maximize the benefit at an enterprise level.
Provide region and business specific inputs to the design of the global category strategies and make them locally relevant in the implementation in the business and regions.
Orchestrates and drives stakeholder related performance cycle incl. escalations across all Procurement activities to meet stakeholder objectives and deliver on agreed plans.
SM: Program manages execution of stakeholder related Funnel measures (QxP) and co-creates a future funnel of opportunities
Is responsible for crisis management in case of business-critical Supply Base/Supplier/Governance related issues.
Drives DfX in own scope.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Typically requires a Master’s degree in Business Administration/ Master degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent
Relevant training in SPM and Supply chain preferred.
Minimum 10 years’ related experience (for Master degree) in Procurement, Supply Chain or in related Stakeholder function
Cultural sensitiveness, able to do global business across Europe, the Americas and Asia
