Purpose Statement
This is a customer-oriented role, responsible for regional technical support to all capital equipment within Boston Scientific portfolio, reporting to his/her supervisor. He/she is the subject matter expert in the products assigned to him/her and technical solutions to BSC service network. He/she provides onsite support as required &/or remote technical support from the local BSC office. This role may provide opportunities to participate/ or be part of APAC Technical Assistance Center (TAC).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to internal and external customers with all BSC's Capital Equipment and third-party capital equipment distributed by BSC.
- Perform service activities such as the maintenance, field action (repair at the hospitals), recalibration (routine maintenance or preventive maintenance), upgrade, and repair all BSC's Capital Equipment and accessories in-house and in the field.
- Operates programmable AC auto-tests, samplers, real-time oscilloscopes, pulse generators, meters, power supplies and special AC (alternate current) test fixtures.
- Reporting all service activities in approved Service Management Systems and meeting key performance indicators.
- Responsible for monitoring, organizing and maintaining personal trunk stock, tools & test measurement equipment and spare parts.
- Responsible for customer satisfaction with BSC equipment’s performance and services.
- Ensures awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply and champion all quality and regulatory commitments of Boston Scientific.
- Analyze and assess product operation and make recommendations for optimal device management.
- Collaborate with relevant functions for content management of knowledge platform.
- Key stakeholders: Capital Equipment Manufacturing, Repair Operations, Manufacturing Engineering and any other internal customers as required.
- Travel frequency: Daily Field works including but not limited to routine maintenance checkup or repair works at local hospitals when required.

Requirements:
- 2 years or above relevant experience being a Field Service Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related disciplines
- Good communication skills. Good in English and Mandarin is a must

- Self initiate with minimal supervision
