Job responsibilities
The Loan Integrity Officer in Auto Finance Risk Management will perform the following:
- Review and disposition Potentially Suspicious Activity referrals in a timely and accurate manner
- Work with Fraud Compliance Operations & Investigations (FCOI) and Global Security (GS) on new and existing Suspicious Activity Reports and Fraud Cases
- Work closely with Credit Analysts to identify and prevent fraudulent retail auto finance applications from being booked
- Perform timely and accurate real time fraud investigations of pending retail auto finance applications
- Interface with various Auto Finance internal units (e.g. Credit, Special Collections, Title Servicing, Payment Processing) to support fraud mitigation work
- Analyze fraud losses for root cause and assist in identifying policy, procedural or control gaps
- Participate in Fraud Working Group and other cross functional teams
- Provide support for projects and special assignments
- Provide support for reporting of fraud metrics
- Assist with revisions to Fraud Risk policies and procedures
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Ability to understand and fully comply with regulations, policies and procedures
- PC skills including Excel (graphs, charts, formulas, pivots), Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage workflow and assignments independently
- Ability to prioritize goals to meet individual, team and business unit objectives
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Strong decision making, sound judgment, and analytical skills
- Professional, effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends when necessary
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- 5+ years of experience in Consumer Credit, Collections, Fraud or Risk Management
- Experience using ACAPS and/or RCO, iCAF, FSD/CA, LexisNexis, Innovis, TLOxp
