Your responsibilities will include:

• Utilize expertise in Design Controls, including Design Inputs, Design Outputs, Risk Management, and Verification activities to complete deliverables and support program milestones.
• Successfully complete complex engineering work in one or more of the following: technology development, product design and development, preparation of specifications and report preparation.
• Select techniques to solve complex problems and make sound design recommendations.
• Summarize, analyze, and draw conclusions from complex test results.
• Design and prepare complex reports to communicate results to technical community.
• Design and coordinate complex engineering tests and experiments.
• Coordinate, manage, and document project goals and progress and recommends appropriate revisions.
• Assess the feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering evaluation tests, products, or equipment.
• Translate customer needs into product requirements and design specifications.
• Responsible for engineering documentation.
• Work cooperatively with process development, quality, manufacturing, regulatory, clinical, and marketing on complex projects to ensure project success.
• May train and/or provide work direction to technicians and entry-level engineers.

Required Qualifications:

• B.S. in Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience
• Self-motivated with strong history of solving problems
• Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to collaborate with team members
• Experience with design controls, including design changes and design verification

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with the PDP/PLCP and BSC Quality system
• Systems Engineering, Electro-Mechanical, or Optics background
• Strong communication skills
• Flexibility required to work with global teams
