What you need to know about the role:
In your day to day you will:
- Partner with Sales & Customer Success teams to provide actionable insights that improve advertiser outcomes.
- Build trustworthy, automated dashboards using SQL and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
- Collaborate with ML teams to refine ad-targeting strategies and improveincrementality.
- Develop data-driven narratives that showcase the value of PayPal and Venmo Ads, providing clear insights for advertisers.
- Manage ad-hoc requests from leadership and cross-functional teams using impact-based
What do you need to bring:
- 5+ years of experience analyzing large, multi-dimensional data sets and synthesizing insights into actionable solutions
- Data driven mindset with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any quantitative discipline such as Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics or Mathematics
- Fluent in SQL, Excel, and visualization tools such as Tableau or Qlikview; experience with a statistical programming language like R or Python preferred
- Prior work experience in the AdTech space
- Experience with one or multiple of the following will be highly desirable; Jupyter Notebooks, Teradata, Hadoop/Hive, SQL, BigQuery
