Cloud Infrastructure Cost Optimization (CICO)team is focus on supporting financial operations associate with SAP cloud operation spend; We are constantly working to evolve and improve our service delivery methods. This includes:

• Enabling and facilitating the migration from an operation to a product-based model
• Learn new technologies and work efficiently in scrum/agile development team.
• Developing and building platform to enable innovation with financial operation and optimize cloud infrastructure spent
• Continuous improvement of processes and automate wherever possible
• Facilitate and ensure compliance with corporate, PCI, SOC, and FedRAMP standards

What you'll do

As a Junior Software Development engineer on the CICO team, you will be a key contributor to all phases of the agile based SDLC process, from design to development, testing and delivery. You will be working in an agile development environment and collaborating with the engineering, product management and other teams to help further the product mission. You will help design and develop cloud native services using an API-first approach while ensuring that these services deliver high scalability and continuous availability. Primary Responsibilities

• Participate in product design sessions, defining functional requirements
• Develop high-quality software design and architecture
• Review and debug code
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products
• Help develop test plans and write unit tests wherever needed
• Document development phases and track implementation progress
• Ensure services and APIs are handled according to pre-defined SLA's for response time, updates, and closure

What you bring

• Bachelor/Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering or a related field of study
• Strong programming skills using one of Java, Node.js and JavaScript, Python, SQL.
• Experience of agile software development methodologies
• Experience in developing oData and RESTful services is a plus
• Experience in writing testable services and testing tools and techniques is highly desired
• Enjoy collaborating with others and sharing your knowledge and ideas Use initiative and take a creative approach to problem-solving
• Take responsibility for organizing and developing yourself

Work Experience

• Up to 3 years of software development experience

Nice to Have

• Cloud Infrastructure operation and cost optimization experience
• Infrastructure configuration management and automation (Ansible, Terraform)
• Building and deploying cloud native solutions on public cloud infrastructure Azure, AWS, GCP, Ali
• Building and managing microservices with SAP Cloud Application Platform (CAP)
• Experience with Generative AI and Machine learning as TenserFlow for example will be highly considered.
