Job Overview:

The job will involve exposure to:

• Contribute to Infrastructure operations to develop short term tactical plans to address issues and problems and collaborate on long term visions and roadmaps.

• Serve as liaison between technical teams, in internal organizations as well as in client and vendor/subcontractor organizations.

• Analytical/problem solving skills, ability to provide alternatives, root cause analysis, testing skills and ability to make thoughtful proposals are also among the skills required.

• Participate in government-sponsored research, development, integration, and test of such systems.

• Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3+ years of recent and relevant work experience in an IT or testing position preferably involving Commercial Cellular Network or related equipment.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field

• Should understand technical terms related to all wireless technologies.

• Proficiency with Windows and Linux OSincluding Linux level administration, and VM deployment.

• Previous experience with monitoring performance including KPIs and operations of large-scale production or test infrastructure equipment.

• Experience evaluating wireless communications systems through logging and post analysis.

• Commercial Cellular Network Operations Experience

• Familiarity with application layer protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP) and network and socket communications

• RF measurement and network protocol analyzer tools (e.g., WireShark, iPerf)

• Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.

Preferred qualifications or experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Previous cellular protocol experience in one or more of the following (3G, 4G, 5G)

• The candidate should be familiar with 3GPP and 3GPP2 specifications.

• Experience with network planning & maintenance and have RF & Network optimization skills.

• Mobile platform operating systems exposure including Linux, Android, and iOS.

• Preferred: Master's EE / Computer Science or equivalent experience

• Programming/scripting skills (C / C++, Python, Shell)

$122,000.00 - $183,000.00
