The role of Technician (Quality Sytem) in Quality Assurance, responsible for the maintenance and improvement to the Quality Management System specifically the Document Control System.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible on the maintenance, and improvement to the Quality Management System specifically on the online document database (Agile HDD+ and Document Center) for the plant.
- Responsible for managing the approved document release and maintaining the latest version in the online document control system. Maintain document master lists, systematic document filing, and good records management.
- Conduct verification/ audit to ensure valid documents are at the point of use.
- Perform follow up with respective department(s) on the Quality System matters (Doc Control, PCN, ERN etc.) and engineering change document closure.
- Hold authority to reject the submission in the document control system if not meeting the document control requirement.
- Provide support to end users for the online document control system and conduct system training/briefing on the online document control system.
- Follow up with relevant IT personnel or related parties when the Document Control system malfunctions.
- Responsible for the internal part number and PDH part number creation and maintenance.
- Support item creation in Oracle System for indirect materials’ part number.
- Assist in ensuring the functional business risk (in area of assigned responsibility) is adequately identified and mitigated at best possible level.
- Responsible for the health and safety of individual at workplace.
- Accountable for the assigned departmental KPI results.
- Participate in the quality related improvement activities, e.g., testing for system improvement and enhancement.
- Provide quality system training to end users.
- Provide documentation system assistance and support during the IMS external audit.
- Participate in IMS activities, especially in the system and process audit in respect to Document Control.
- Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
