Job Summary

As Account Technology Specialist in NetApp's Sales function, you will be responsible for providing pre-sales and sales support for selling NetApp's Products and Professional Services to existing and potential customers.
You will utilize your excellent technical and relationship building skills in working with vendors, partners and sales to ensure that optimum systems and solutions are provided to customers.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Identify customer needs and requirements.
• Define all of the elements of a customer's technical computing environment.
• Answer customer questions.
• Provide technical support to current customer and 'try-and-buy' test projects.
• Define customer acceptance criteria for 'try-and-buy' evaluation projects.
• Work with Sales to respond to RFP's.
• Attend customer meetings with the Sales Representative, initiate and attend customer meetings by your own.
• Provide technical consultation and disseminate product information to the sales team.

Job Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experiences
• Drive for results: Through customer obsession and being the technical authority to win opportunities with appropriate workload specialists’ engagement
• Leadership: Technical leadership in team selling environments
• Ownership of technical relationship with the customer at the executive level
• Excellent communication skills
• A passion for delivering innovative technical solutions
• A curious mind and collaborative style

Specialized knowledge in breadth or depth in the following areas:
• Network Architecture and Data Center Visualization
• Storage Networking and Data Management
• Storage Solutions for Video Surveillance, databases, virtualization and Bigdata/Analytics
• Hyperconverged and Software Defined Storage Solutions
• Hypervisors Knowledge (VMWare, Microsoft, KVM…)
• Understands both traditional IT infrastructures, as well as cloud services (AWS/Azure/Google)
• Technical experience with the following is a strong plus: kubernetes, docker, OpenStack, vCloud Director, etc.
• Significant knowledge about NetApp competitive landscape
