Lead Financial Officers (LFO) are Finance partners and strategic advisors to the functions and businesses they support. This Global Legal Affairs and Compliance (GLAC) sub-function LFO role will support the following LFO responsibilities:
- Assisting in budgeting, forecasting and planning processes through engagement with functional partners
- Serving as trusted advisor and strategic partner to GLAC senior executives including discipline leads for financial business decisions and plans
- Providing insightful analysis and thoughtful challenge to inform the function's strategy and drive functions financial performance
Responsibilities
- Support budgeting, forecasting and planning processes through engagement with functional partners
- Provide regular financial performance updates to discipline leads, including insight into variances to financial plans such as drivers of expense and headcount growth
- Partner with COO to identify corrective actions for variances to financial plans
- Partnering with COO teams on a variety of activities including expense optimization opportunities and initiatives
- Ensure resource plans are realistic, align with financial plans and are appropriately reflected in financial forecasts
- Partner with COO and other functional partners to prepare and review Quarterly Business Review materials
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of Finance experience
- Strong communication skills: Presence, Written, Verbal
- Relationship builder across businesses with seniors
- Proven track record of in-depth financial analysis
- Experienced accountability with drivers of expense and head-count
Education:
- Bachelors/University degree required, Master’s degree preferred
