YOUR FUTURE ROLE
The expected tasks of the Enterprise Architect SAP MaxAttention SAP Transformation Hub include:

  • Delivering relevant Enterprise Architecture guidance to the SAP front-office teams and SAP customers directly, under the umbrella of the SAP MaxAttention services contract
  • Support the front-office architects and account teams in their architecture related work with the customer, as a combination of process guidance and back-office like responsibility
  • Collaborate with SAP Transformation Hub counterparts, to ensure continuity throughout the journey of defining a customer IT strategy and providing guidance in conceptual and architectural questions typical for an IT transformation.
  • Delivery of strategy services and architecture point-of-view services together with the front-office architect
  • Guide large enterprises through the digital transformation by identifying drivers for change, mapping those drivers to enablers in terms of application components or non-functional qualities and deriving an industry and customer-specific target architecture.
  • Build and maintain a central knowledge hub, enabling a cross customer / cross industry and cross regional perspective to architecture-related topics.
  • Refine and evolve the service methodology which includes documentation and collection of learnings from the deliveries for re-use by the service development groups, to further improve the service concepts and service content.
  • Maintain a strong network within SAP Customer Services & Delivery as well as SAP Product Engineering; building up strategic working relationship across multiple locations.
  • 20% travel required to various client sites globally.

Required skills

  • Experience with at least one of the following Line of Business (LoB): Finance, Sales & Marketing, Purchasing, Supply Chain and Manufacturing
  • Proven track record in advising large enterprises on IT strategy and enterprise architecture topics
  • Proven experience in different Enterprise Architecture domains including Business, Application, Data & Technology
  • Turning customer requirements into requirements for an application architecture
  • Structuring and documenting methodologies and best practices (whitepapers, presentations)
  • SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA product knowledge and hands-on experience
  • SAP-based architectures & general IT technology strategies
  • Working on enterprise Architecture artifacts (e.g. Business capability modeling as part of business architecture or application landscape design as part of application architecture)
  • Architecting, Designing and Implementing End-to-End SAP S/4HANA implementation project using latest intelligent technologies (such as Machine Learning and IOT) in a customer landscape across the world

Work Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in working on SAP based architectures & general IT strategies.
  • 10+ years of experience in working with SAP customers in the strategic segment.
  • Experience in supporting one customer for a longer period of time (e.g. as enterprise architect)
  • Masters degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or equivalent
