As Manager for Security Engineering, you'll manage a diverse team of Security and Systems Engineers to define and continuously maintain the security outcomes across our mission-critical security and trust services supporting Kuiper. These foundational security services are critical systems and must be maintained at a high security bar. Ensuring security is designed into our products through every stage of the software life cycle is critical to upholding the highest security bar.This team owns designing the security controls across our security and trust services, influencing partner teams on the right security requirements and helping drive adoption of secure by default solutions to achieve and maintain the desired security posture. You'll lead this team to innovate in Security and PKI, helping drive proposals and processes, deliver security tools and automations.Key job responsibilities
You are adept at establishing durable mechanisms, breaking down complex problems and defining incremental (working backwards) plans to achieve our goals. You'll collaborate and inform at all levels of the organization establishing processes that track our goals, objectives, milestones, progress and risks, and drive organizational alignment on trade-offs and priorities. You are adept at hiring, developing and managing talent, and have experience building and managing high-performance teams.A day in the life

- 7+ years of experience leading, managing & developing high performance teams
- 3+ years of progressive experience within a software security team or similar operating environment with in-depth understanding of PKI/Cryptographic concepts, application security assessment methodologies such threat modeling, secure design reviews, secure code review, and penetration testing
- BA/BS in computer science, information security, related discipline, or equivalent work experience
