

This role requires an engineer with experience in automation, engineering, planning and analysis of the Material Handling Equipment in Delivery Stations.This role will be based in either Sydney or Melbourne. The position requires regular domestic and international travel (approximately 25% of work time).
Key job responsibilities
- Lead Material Handling Equipment automation projects
- Update equipment specifications based on various factors; labor, cost, safety, performance, etc. working with Process Engineering and Operations partners- Monitor performance of the installed equipment in Australia by measuring success criteria for meeting metrics for safety, productivity and quality
- Support lessons learnt program for to understand improvements needed for specifications iterations
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment experience
- Experience working with Material handling equipment (MHE)
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at the intermediate level
- Knowledge of automated material handling systems, packaging technologies and storage solutions
- Experience working with and managing third party vendors
