In this role, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of our Catalog Tooling ecosystem as well as the Publication service. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and engineers, to identify pain points and develop innovative solutions that streamline processes, enhance user experiences, and drive business growth.You will launch new micro cloud services and ultra-high volume transaction API’s that have direct impact to customer experience, be a base for building variety of features for FireTV. You will raise the bar on current design, propose improvements, identify impact to dependent systems, and execute on the proposals successfully.
Key job responsibilities
* Help develop technical roadmap, strategy, customer experience and roadmap for FireTV product initiatives
* Facilitate the technical architecture between multiple complex systems.
* Create buy-in for the technical vision and strategy both internally and with key external partners
* Proactively identify and resolve technical risks and issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic or technical goals.* Experience leading a high performance team and a track record of mentoring

- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
