Description
We're looking for a motivated engineer with excellent problem solving and communication skills. In this role, you will bring up new hardware and sign off on cellular power, work on power optimizations of cellular technology, build energy model for cellular usage in the field. You would also be responsible for using large data analytics to analyze cellular usage in the field to identify power improvement opportunities. To be successful in this role, you must have a solid foundation in systems design/architecture coupled with good understanding of cellular and network protocols.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Thorough understanding of one or more of cellular protocols (5G, LTE, WCDMA, CDMA, etc.)
  • Excellent debugging skills in both software and hardware to solve challenging problems
  • Mastering at least one programming or scripting language
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Preferred Qualifications
  • Profound understanding of wireless systems architecture
  • Hands-on protocol design or implementation experience preferred
  • Experience with wireless systems design is a plus
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
