You will be responsible for leading and driving complex, cross-functional projects from inception , architects, and other software engineers to translate customer requirements into technical requirements and turning ideas into scalable technical solutions. The ideal candidate has both a deep technical and pragmatism with a bias towards shipping.

You should be comfortable taking an end goal and the most critical components to the thesis. When you run into bugs / issues, you are able to quickly troubleshoot and triage issues, coming up with solutions that fix both the underlying cause, and prevent future occurrences of similar issues. You are pragmatic in evaluating tradeoffs, and let the perfect be the enemy of the good.

What you will have:

• 3+ years’ experience of software development w/ a bias towards backend technologies

• Extensive e xperience designing and implementing REST APIs using Java and S pring B oot

• E xperience designing relational database schemas as well as implementing and optimizing SQL queries

• Experience utilizing Java Hibernate and optimizing data access with Hibernate.

• Experience with Docker and utilizing Cloud providers to deploy application and services.

• Experience tech leading projects and mentoring more junior engineers

• Experience writing technical design documents to communicate implementation plans

• experience in the advertising domain

• Advanced knowledge of performance, scalability, and system architecture with an eye toward avoiding and reducing technical debt.

• Strong inclination towards exploring and learning new technologies
