Description
To be successful in this role, you will need to exercise technical agility. Staying up to speed on new, cutting edge security research and how it applies to our products. Competitive candidates will demonstrate strong drive to solve hard problems, sound judgement under pressure, meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional communication skills. You will need to coordinate between many stakeholders, set expectations for deliverables from many different teams, and take ownership of security initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Understanding of common OS security vulnerabilities
  • Successful track record coordinating vulnerability disclosures
  • Ability to track and manage numerous parallel activities
  • Requires at least 3 years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in front-line analysis and response
  • Experience in applications security, network security, systems security, or reverse engineering
  • Technical writing background with a focus on security content
  • Knowledge of Apple specific security technologies and attack techniques
  • Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages (Python, Bash, Swift, etc)
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $129,600 and $236,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
