This is a hybrid role, 3 days in office, 2 from home.
Key responsibilities
- Lead a team of credit analysts that evaluates credit risk, makes credit recommendations and sets credit limits on new and existing customer accounts for the EMEAI region.
- Prepare credit approval cases and provide clear recommendations for approval to senior leaders.
- Ensure credit limits and ERP settings are set according to customer credit risk and business requirements.
- Ensure assigned annual credit reviews of customers from top 80% A/R are completed on time.
- Assume a senior role within the Corporate Credit and Treasury organization, often called upon to assist management with special assignments and training of employees.
- Ensure deliverables (Reports, analysis) are provided on time per requirement to Leadership.
- Ensure requests for accounts settings changes are completed timely per quality standards.
- Strive to achieve internal customer delight at all levels. Internal customers include: C2C collections, sales, finance leaders, customer excellence, program managers, ISC.
- Partner with external Credit agencies.
- Maintain a strong controls environment, enforce the C2C Policy, approvals authority, Tier segmentation and all credit related SOX requirements.
- Monitor credit risk continuously. Escalate to business when credit deterioration is identified.
- Work with customer master team to ensure required changes are completed as per the business and customer requirement.
- Act as primary focal for SOX, internal and external audit related to the credit risk process.
- Drive continuous improvement, team creation and completion of kaizen.
- Support digital transformation roadmap for the credit function.
- Champion internal change, prepare and lead trainings, team members development
Key skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline required
- Minimum of 5 years related experience, preferably in Credit or financial analysis or Customer to Cash
- Extensive experience in analyzing Credit Reports provided by external Credit Agencies and Financial Statements of customers
- Demonstrated ability to lead, train, teach, or coach business professionals
- Strong problem solving, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Proficiency in SAP systems
- Fluency in English
Preferable
- 5 years’ experience in senior or team leader roles in C2C, Finance, or Business
- 3+ years of experience working within a Shared Service environment or Center of Excellence
- Experience in supporting multiple businesses
- Strong knowledge in overall C2C process
- Six Sigma Green Belt certified
