As a Technology Support III. This position is based in Mumbai, or Bengaluru India.
In this role, you'll use both creative and critical thinking skills to maintain application systems that are crucial to the daily operations of the firm. You'll work collaboratively in teams on a wide range of projects based on your primary area of focus: design or programming. While learning to fix application and data issues as they arise, you'll also gain exposure to software development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement, in addition to production lifecycle methodologies and risk guidelines.

Responsibilities and Deliverables:

• Provide support for end users by having in-depth knowledge of application and the integrations to downstream systems.
• Responsible for triaging and escalating any production issue affecting outages per procedures.
• Manage production batch support
• Contribute to the success of SRE and DevOps
• Identify and enact process and technical improvements including automation
• Use and adapt Application Monitoring tools like Dynatrace
• Ready to work in APAC & EMEA hours, and also provide weekend coverage on rotational basis.
• Participate in incident and problem management procedures

Qualifications and Technical Requirements:

• 8+ years of industry experience is required with at least 4 years in Production Support, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering
• Degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving or equivalent practical experience.
• Working knowledge in one or more general purpose programming languages, plus an interest in learning other coding languages and skills as needed
• Experience managing and supporting a batch application system, including ability to analyze complex and layered outcomes
• Skills required: Unix/Linux, Sybase/Oracle SQL, Shell / Perl scripting, Python and experience in Monitoring tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk and Grafana
• Experience in supporting Web based applications (WebSphere, Apache Tomcat, Mule).
• Experience with job schedulers like CTRL-M/CA Autosys scheduler, and knowledge on any ETL tool like Informatica, Pentaho
• Have an understanding of source control techniques and/or familiar with GIT
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies and tools including Jira and BitBucket

Good to have :

• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with DevOps tool stack such as Jenkins, Liquibase
