• Architect highly available, scalable user facing applications using RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Operate within our internal open source community where we share a variety of projects and codebases.
• Work closely with other architects, designers, and team members to champion a collaborative and creative work environment
• Mentoring junior team members and ensuring they adhere to determined software quality standards
• Develop technical & domain expertise and apply to solving product challenges.
• Estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and rollout system changes with implications for multi-functional teams.

• BS/BA in Computer Science or related field 12 plus years work experience or MS with 10 plus experience
• Experience with Node JS, Javascript, Java, Scala, Oracle/NOSQL DBs
• Experience building web and RESTful /GraphQL applications
• Experience working with frameworks such as Spring MVC
• Experience working with Streaming Platform Kafka and frameworks like Flink
• Knowledge of core CS concepts such as common data structures and algorithms
• Code samples from private GitHub repos, side projects, and open source project contributions is a plus
• Excellent decision-making, communication, collaboration, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills.
