Description
The role involves defining test scripts and procedures for coexistence testing during engineering builds. You will be working closely with EE design teams and subsystem teams to align on key metrics and quantify the impact of our design decisions. You will be involved in debugging our most challenging and complex problems related to EM coupling within the system and learning about all of the different hardware features that make up the Watch (sensors, RF, analog, digital, etc.). Analyzing collected data and presenting it to wide forums will be a key aspect of the role along with keeping all teams informed on the status and outcomes of testing in a timely manner.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS in EE or CE
  • 2-5 years prior experience shipping hardware on a system or module team
  • Some exposure to Python based SW/script development
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills, ability to work independently, a desire to mentor, and demonstrated ability to innovate are required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MS or Ph.D in EE or CE
  • Deep knowledge of EE fundamentals (RF, analog, EM simulations)
  • Some experience with data analysis/visualization tools (Tableau, JMP, etc.).
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
