EY Community Impact Program Facilitator - Casual
Australia, New South Wales, Sydney
235087984

09.09.2025

As our Facilitator, you will focus on the delivery of a program that equips Australian school-aged students with an understanding of living life with a disability and giving them a strong appreciation of social inclusion from an early age. The program is called Just Like You. We work in partnership with a children’s charity, whose funding and support means the program can be offered at no cost to students in years 1 to 7. This is a genuine educational initiative delivered by a team of people who really want to make a difference.

Your key responsibilities

  • Deliver world class disability inclusion workshops to school-aged students (Years 1-7) in Sydney and surrounding areas, in person and virtually.
  • Build and maintain successful relationships with schools to ensure continued partnerships whilst collecting valuable teacher feedback.
  • Achieve KPIs (key performance indicators) related to workshop quality and evaluation feedback.
  • Act as an outstanding brand ambassador for our client.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Knowledge and understanding of living with a disability, including, if you feel comfortable doing so, sharing your lived experience and drawing on your personal stories to underpin the important message of social inclusion.
  • Previous experience in presenting, teaching, educating or performing; ideally to school age groups (although this isn’t essential).
  • Ability to engage, inspire and motivate school-aged audiences through face-to-face and digital mediums.
  • Will be able to learn and retain content for presentations.
  • As a Facilitator, you must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid and current Working with Children Check.
  • In-school facilitation will typically take place within a 60km radius of Sydney and therefore travel is a requirement of this position. Ideally, the successful candidate will hold a valid driver’s license and have access to their own car with compulsory third-party insurance. Alternative travel arrangements will be considered for any candidate who does not hold a valid driver’s license, and adjustments can be made for those who may require them to perform their role.

Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Flexibility to adapt to and embrace unexpected changes.
  • Administration skills with the ability to follow processes.
  • A purpose and values driven attitude – you want to make a positive impact in the community.
  • A self-motivated attitude, with the ability to work independently and remotely.
