This position is primarily based in a location within PNC's footprint. Responsibilities require time in the office or in a field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities can be performed remotely. Additional locations may be considered.As an Infrastructure Engineer you will be required to install, configure, test & deploy mainframe system software components across multiple sysplexes; provide technical support to MIS & End Users and coach junior staff. In addition, this position will require general platform support – including troubleshooting, issue resolution and on-call duties.
• Using z/OS, SMP/e and Mainframe JCL, System Utilities, Microsoft Excel
• Programming experience in one or more of the following languages – REXX, CLIST, SAS, Cobol, Focus, Easytrieve, ASM
• Knowledge to support two or more of the following – CA-7, BMC Control M, CA-OPSMVS, Z Netview, Z System Automation, ,XPT/r, SAS, CA-DATACOM, restAPIs, Endevor, AMI DevX Code.
• Working knowledge of Syncsort, ISPF, ISPF Dialogs, REXX, Fileaid, ACF2 or RACF, DF/DSS, IDCAMS, Unix System Services
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, a vtam Session Manager, NDM, Securing Ports, VSAM, User Exits, Sharepoint, JIRA, Topaz, Service Now, incident and change processes
• Experience with Project Planning, Mainframe Security, disaster recovery and business continuity
