Typical responsibilities may include:
Serve as team leader to write high quality, production ready code, reinventing security with us!
Proactively identify and participate in the resolution of complex problems that impact the direction of the business
Develop and deliver innovative strategies that benefit customers and or clients
Lead the development and implementation of software development life cycle and agile engineering strategies across applicable teams in anticipation of the changing software development environment
May represent or present team outputs at external events
Negotiate and drive tradeoffs in timing design and specifications to meet the needs of users and cross functional partners
Lead, mentor and influence other engineering team members, serving as a subject matter expert in firewalls, secure web gateways, and/or SASE/SSE.
Minimum Qualifications for the Role:
8+ years of professional programming experience with Javascript, CSS, React, Node.js, Angular.js or similar frameworks to include experience developing enterprise-level frontend solutions for SaaS deployment
Experience with building microservices in public cloud
Experience with API development methodologies such as RESTful or gRPC
Development experience in a linux environment
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Significant Full stack engineering experience preferred.
Experience working alongside UX/UI Design, backend engineers, product management and cross-functional engineering teams
Background in network security, protocols and policies. (e.g. eg firewalls, secure web gateways, etc.).
Secure development nuances token management, authentication, RBAC, etc.
Knowledgeable of CI/CD processes, containerization and deployment to public-cloud environments such as AWS.
Experience leading development teams and being a mentor to other developers
