You will play a key role in shaping the future of neuromodulation technologies by driving research, influencing early-stage product strategy, and bridging clinical and technical domains. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to therapies that improve quality of life for patients around the world.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead the design and execution of pre-clinical studies to evaluate the safety, efficacy, and performance of SNM and TNS systems, ensuring compliance with FDA, USDA, and AAALAC standards.
• Serve on the technical leadership team for the development of implantable neuromodulation systems.
• Drive research into stimulation waveform optimization (e.g., pulse shape, frequency, amplitude) to improve therapeutic outcomes and reduce side effects.
• Support clinical translation activities, including IDE submissions, clinical trial design, and post-market surveillance.
• Partner with clinical and regulatory teams to ensure smooth transition from bench to bedside.
• Identify unmet clinical needs and propose novel stimulation paradigms, such as bilateral sacral root targeting and alternative tibial approaches.
• Contribute to early-stage development planning and technical risk mitigation.
• Engage proactively with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to validate research direction and technology roadmap.
• Lead Voice of Customer (VOC) efforts to ensure alignment with physician and patient needs.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and scientists in experimental design, data analysis, and publication strategies.
• Lead cross-functional teams through concept development and feasibility phases.


• PhD or equivalent in Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience, Urology, or related field.
• Minimum of 12 years' experience in medical device R&D with a strong focus on neuromodulation.
• Demonstrated expertise in neuromodulation technologies, including SNM and/or TNS.
• Experience with global regulatory pathways (FDA, CE Mark) and clinical trial execution.
• Proven ability to lead in cross-functional environments and mentor technical teams.
• Strong track record of external engagement, including collaboration with KOLs.

Maximum Salary: $ 254000

Compensation fornon-exempt (hourly), non-sales rolesmay also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
