• Responsible for the design, development, modification, debugging, and maintenance of conversion and migration software designed for transformation projects.
• Work on migration modules, applications, and technologies, completing sophisticated assignments during the software development process with agile and waterfall models as per customer needs and requirements.
• Be accountable for and own specific modules within an application and provide technical support and guidance during solution design for new requirements, as well as conduct problem resolution for critical/complex issues while ensuring code is maintainable, scalable, and supportable.
• Present demos of the software products to partners and internal/external customers, using technical knowledge to influence the direction and evolution of the product/solution.
• Investigate issues by reviewing and debugging code and providing fixes and workarounds, review changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions, and highlight and mitigate risks from technical aspects.
• Bring continuous improvements and efficiencies to the software or business processes by utilizing software engineering tools, innovative techniques, and existing solutions. Perform automation, reduce design complexity, reduce response time, and simplify the client/end-user experience.
• Represent and lead discussions related to products, applications, modules, and the team including technical design reviews.
• Establish relationships with internal customers and partners. Minimal domestic travel required to client sites.
• Remote work permitted, but applicant must live within a reasonable commuting distance.

Job Requirements:

Education & Work Experience: Education req.
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computing, or related field.
Eighty-four (84) months of experience as a Programmer Analyst, Senior Subject Matter Expert, or related position.

Experience with the following skills is required:
(1) Working in Telecom solutions domain utilizing Telecom Billing System, Customer Management, Account Receivable, Account Payable, Usage processing, and Invoicing;
(2) Working with Telecom billing contracts and pricing schedules, performing invoice analysis to identify billing errors, discrepancies, and opportunities for savings, and investigating telecom usage charges
(3) Leading software design, solution requirements, and development throughout project life cycle utilizing a popular SDLC model like Agile SDLC, often paired with a proven project management methodology like Jira, Git, Confluence
(4) Utilizing software development methodologies, principles, and procedures and related software management tools (Jira, Team Gantt) and supporting and maintaining software and services including application design, application architecture, database design, and framework creation
(5) Utilizing ETL, C, C++, and Java Sprint boot framework to build new and complex software solutions in data migration projects
(6) Performing code reviews and assisting junior team members with adhering to project coding standard
(7) Leading performance tuning of the migration software to meet project SLA requirements
