As a Cloud & AI Solution Area Specialist you will be a solution sales leader within our Cloud & AI Platforms organization working with our most important and largest enterprise customers across a V-team of account executives, technical, partner and consulting resources.

Required Qualifications:

  • Substantial experience of technology-related sales or account management experience
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND Experience in technology-related sales or account management
  • OR equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in technology-related sales or account management.
  • Experience in solution sales or consulting services sales experience
Responsibilities
  • Bring impactful industry insights into customer engagements and closes deals with customers. Acts as a thought leader across solution areas to advise customers across business functions on digital transformation with a challenger mindset that accounts for customers' business needs and priorities. Leads virtual transformational shifts to drive deployment and create business value for customers. May lead partner integration into account/territory planning and customer engagements.
  • Customer First Mindset - Engage with and enable our customers and key decision-makers, delivering a connected customer engagement experience and driving customer satisfaction, through digital sales excellence, empowered by world-class data, marketing systems and platforms.
  • Be the key trusted advisor and influencer in shaping customer decisions to buy and adopt Microsoft Azure solutions by winning the customers’ technical decision for consumption projects and usage scenarios
  • Lead and collaborate with specialists, extended sales team, partners to conduct business analysis (e.g., whitespace analysis, identify industry trends) to pursue high-potential customers and develop a target list of potential business. Build strong rhythm of businesses and processes, elevating team capabilities and focus on working smarter and more effectively. Prioritize time with customers and partners, leveraging tools and processes to run and grow the business and build a stronger team.
  • Develop strategies for driving and closing strategic and/or prioritized opportunities . Collaborates with account teams to ensure alignment with the account strategy and plan. Leads deal execution with the deal teams across the organization. Coach others on the implementation of close plans (e.g., how to map timeline, engage the customer, get customer buy in and commitment) to de-risk and drive predictable deal closure.
  • Orchestrate technical demonstrations with other Technical Sales roles, to showcase how the proven capabilities of Microsoft Databases, Analytics and AI, Cloud Infrastructure and Application Innovation Solutions to meet customer’s business and technical objectives. Collaborate with account teams and partners to track, qualify, and expand new opportunities, building continuous pipeline. Interfaces with customers and builds relationships via social selling.
  • Lead engagements and conversations with customers to introduce how other workloads could enable digital transformation areas that are aligned with the customer's industry and turns opportunities into deals. Has in-depth understanding of customers' business and its priorities to drive conversations with customers on digital transformation across multiple solution areas, in collaboration with partners and services.
  • P roactively build relationships with leadership and field stakeholders to enable team success across internal and external stakeholders. Collaborates with account teams to identify and engage senior business subject matter decision makers at the customer's/partner's business and maximize scale through partners.
  • Lead the orchestration model to proactively drive deal closure by identifying and aligning internal stakeholders and leveraging and expanding relationships with partners, creating demand leading with industry use cases.
