• Provide strategic storage consulting services to clients, assessing their storage infrastructure and recommending modernization plans.
• Architect and implement complex storage solutions, including virtualization, consolidation, automation, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Lead and execute large-scale storage migration projects, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
• Perform in-depth performance analysis and tuning to optimize storage utilization and I/O performance.
• Develop and implement data retention, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
• Evaluate and recommend new storage technologies and solutions to meet evolving business needs.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging storage technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Minimum of 18 years of hands-on experience in mainframe storage administration and architecture.
• Proven expertise in storage migration projects between IBM, Hitachi, and Fujitsu platforms (At least one hands-on experience in migrating from one vendor to another)
• In-depth knowledge of DS8K and TS7700 storage systems, including hardware and software components.
• Strong understanding of mainframe operating systems (z/OS) and storage subsystems.
• Experience with storage virtualization technologies (e.g., z/OS DFSMS, HyperSwap).
• Proven ability to architect and implement complex storage solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery planning and implementation.
• Expertise in IBM Copy Services and data replication technologies.
