Finance Senior Project Manager

Several projects and initiatives are run within UK, Europe and MEA Finance Regulatory Reporting, partnership with Finance. These projects encompass both business-driven initiatives and major Finance- driven programmes, arising from a combination of factors including:

• The rapidly changing business and regulatory environment in which the firm operates
• The constant need to align processes, data and systems used for regulatory reporting, with established firm standards and policies, as well as to enhance efficiency and further strengthen the current control environment.

As a Finance Senior Project Manager you will:

• lead the implementation of a complex multi-year project end to end with multiple systems and countries involved (most projects will be within UK, Europe and MEA clusters but may also include components of a global program)
• innovate and initiate new projects within the Finance functional area that is supported
• contribute to the effort to deploy global process / system strategy within the clusters
• manage a large number of individuals from different areas who are working on the project, including Technology and the line areas
• coordinate work slate prioritisation for the Finance large regional systems
• be considered a leader within Finance; will face off to regional Finance management, cluster / country senior Finance or O&T management, as well as to global functional leads

What we’ll need from you:

• 7-10 years of relevant work experience, preferably within the Banking industry

• experience in Projects roles (5+ years), either as a Program or Project Manager using a structured methodology to successfully track, plan, monitor and report on concurrent, multiple projects
• excellent project planning / organizational skills, including the ability to lead project teams towards clear delivery plans across geography, function and other organizational structures
• extensive years of working in a multi-cultural environment delivering results with virtual teams
• well-versed and thorough knowledge of financial processes end to end, systems, measures and concepts on products (including valuation and control)
• outstanding presentation and communication skills
• experience and ease in interfacing with different stakeholder groups (including Technology Teams, Internal Audit, Senior Management, etc.)
• PMP or other Project Management certification a plus
• knowledge and experience of the regulatory environment in the EU a plus
