JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Sr. Procurement Project Management Specialist, you will be part of the CE Project Management Office (PMO) and have a strong understanding of project management activities, including the end to end project management process in a fast paced, complex business environment. You will work within a team of collaborative colleagues, working on high-impact projects that move the business forward. You will help drive PMO Process Excellence to drive Best Practices, PMO Digitalization, PMO and will lead Productivity/Month end reporting for the PMO.

Key Responsibilities:

Enable Process Excellence within the PMO by driving training and best practices with the Project Managers within the PMO.

Support Resource Planning & Management across GBEs and SBGs.

Actively lead the Month End financial reporting for the PMO.

As required, develop, drive, and execute sourcing cost reduction projects in a cross functional environment, work with Engineering, Quality, Sourcing, Manufacturing , OM to ensure project execution (meet deadlines) and implementation.

Initiatives of projects include supplier transfer to high growth region, supply base optimization, supply risk mitigation, value engineering changes, among others.

This position is co responsible to build a solid pipeline of projects through new ideas development and strong cooperation with procurement organization.

Perform risk management to identify and minimize issues in project execution.

Establish relationship with stakeholders on the GBE, escalate project barriers and delays.

Lead productivity workshops to increase pipeline of projects to close gap.

YOU MUST HAVE:

Minimum 5+ Strategic Sourcing/Supply Chain areas/commodity sourcing

Project Management and/or Contract Management Experience

Good decision-making; uses analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment in making sound decisions

Global Sourcing experience

Problem solving skill set

English Proficient

Good negotiation skills

Good organizational - ability to prioritize and do problem solving.

English fluent, any other language is a plus

Planning, negotiations and agreements/contract management experience

Good technical knowledge of Procurement/sourcing

SAP Proficient

Strong analytical and innovative mindset to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Able to articulate points of view with senior leaders, but execute plans when directed

Demonstrated ability to think strategically but detailed oriented to support ideology with facts
