JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Safety and productivity solutions helps create faster, more seamless, agile, and efficient supply chains, better protect human health, improve worker safety, and help meet sustainability goals by leveraging connectivity, advanced data analytics, software, robotics, sensors, advanced materials and integrated human and automated systems.

Key requirements:

Develop robust commodity strategies for the Category Strategy Team and with consideration to quality, cost, speed and service requirements, market conditions, risks and exposures, competitive landscape, and projected changes over the strategic planning horizon; global industry trends, suppliers’ capabilities, and overall supply chain expertise.

Reduce complexity and increase leverage with supply base to drive incremental value and cost reduction.

Execute the annual operating plan through year-over-year improvements in productivity, working capital, quality, delivery and supply continuity.

Negotiate and execute supply agreements with strategic suppliers capable of providing solutions that meet established business requirements and follow the global commodity strategies while maximizing benefit to Honeywell.

Act as Sourcing/procurement single point of contact for ISC/Site personnel for ESS Campus sites.

Build strong technical solutions including new technology, VA/VE, CE product and cost improvements with supply base.

Participate and ensure success with Zero Based Budgeting at ESS Campus sites.

Develop and lead site productivity reviews and kaizen strategy (BAE) events/initiatives focused on supplier productivity, working capital and value generation.

Invoice resolution, problem solving and continuous improvement focus.

Training experience with requestors to drive compliance and improve process.

Present campus results and develop action plans to mitigate any gaps to financial targets.

YOU MUST HAVE:
·7+ years of relevant strategic sourcing experience, to include at minimum, 4 years in an indirect procurement function at a multinational corporation with global contracts.
·Experience managing indirect procurement categories like MRO, PVF, R&M, Industrial Gases, Calibration, Rentals & Leases, etc
·In-depth experience in best-in-class procurement practices (category management, benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, etc.);
·Strong negotiator with proven experience in setting negotiation strategies and conducting negotiations.
·iValua and/or Ariba experience
