Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality structural engineering designs and consultancy services, independently managing design, review, and assurance on projects.
- Drive business development efforts, identify and secure new opportunities, and support winning bids.
- Prepare and submit bids, and assist section leaders and project managers in delivering financially successful projects.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to key clients in both the public and private sectors.
- Collaborate with the client management team to identify emerging opportunities with clients.
- Manage projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client satisfaction. Provide design management functions.
- Mentor and support the technical development of junior team members.
- Holds a relevant university degree in Structural Engineering.
- Possesses industry experience as a Structural Engineer, particularly in building design projects within a consulting environment.
- Demonstrates knowledge of Australian Building Codes and Standards.
- Proven ability to achieve project goals with technical accuracy.
- Driven by a passion for delivering high-quality work.
- Exhibits strong communication skills and the capability to build client relationships.
- Skilled at multitasking and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
