Job Highlights:* Opportunity to spearhead relationships with Cyber Venture Capital firms, identifying and collaborating with high-potential cybersecurity startups, and ensuring AWS's deep engagement within the cybersecurity ecosystem.* Play a pivotal role in shaping community engagement efforts with CISOs, cybersecurity startups CxOs, and Cyber industry organizations.Key job responsibilities• Working with the founders/leaders of venture-backed startups in Cybersecurity to 1) identify their technical and commercial challenges/opportunities 2) map those needs onto people, technology, knowledge, programs, relationships across Amazon that could potentially help, and 3) mobilize those assets to work on behalf of these startup customers
• Conceiving, authoring, and securing support for launching and executing new initiatives and programs to meet the needs of Cybersecurity startups.• Discovering, capturing, and reporting back learnings from the field about challenges and opportunities as they relate to Cybersecurity.
• Producing thought leadership and technical-leaning content, workshops, and events for the startup ecosystem. Serving as an evangelist and Cybersecurity subject matter expert within AWS and externally.
• Developing and managing relationships with key venture funds and investors in Cybersecurity. Activities include putting AWS assets to work on behalf of portfolio companies, driving customer and partner relationships for the portfolio, jointly producing thought leadership and educational events for the portfolio and/or broader startup ecosystem.* Inclusive Team Culture: At AWS, diversity is celebrated, and an inclusive culture is fostered through employee-led affinity groups and innovative benefit offerings. - MBA
- Knowledge of core cloud computing concepts including compute, storage, networking, databases, and higher order capabilities including serverless and machine learning; ability to go deep enough on technical aspects to differentiate among various AWS services
- MBA or equivalent
- Speaking engagements at Cybersecurity conferences and industry events
