Your key responsibilities
As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be at the forefront of delivering innovative cybersecurity activities, utilizing your judgment and methodologies to formulate effective recommendations. You will navigate through complex challenges, ensuring the success of our projects while coordinating with junior team members to achieve collective goals. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the design and execution of cybersecurity deliverables
- Proactively participating in client sessions and potentially leading workstreams
- Assisting in identifying service opportunities and contributing to RFPs
- Monitoring project statuses, resource plans, and budgets

- Provide 24x5 operational support for PKI infrastructure, with the flexibility to be on-call during weekends as needed
- Monitor and manage PKI systems to ensure reliability, availability, and performance standards are met
- Handle certificate issuance, renewal, revocation, and troubleshooting in a timely and efficient manner
- Work with Venafi, Keyfactor, Entrust, DigiCert, and PKI Spotlight tools to manage certificates and keys across the organization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve PKI-related issues
- Implement and follow best practices for PKI security and operations
- Be proactive in identifying potential problems and taking pre-emptive action to prevent them
- Maintain detailed documentation of PKI procedures and configurations
- Provide guidance and support to other team members and stakeholders regarding PKI processes and policies
- Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
To qualify for the role, you must have
- A Bachelor’s degree
- At least 2 to 4 years of relevant professional experience in PKI operations or a related field
- Familiarity with PKI management tools such as Venafi, Keyfactor, Entrust, DigiCert, and PKI Spotlight is preferred
- Strong understanding of cryptographic principles and PKI concepts.
- Ability to work independently and handle tasks individually with minimal supervision.
- Proven experience in leading teams and managing projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to continuous learning and improvement in the field of PKI and cybersecurity.
- Proficiency in change management
- Coding skills and technical writing expertise
- Client communication and digital fluency

What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $73,100 to $132,900. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $87,600 to $151,400. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
