About the role:
Hands-On Design: Actively contribute to the design process by creating concepts, wireframes, prototypes, and polished designs for key projects.
Team Leadership: Guide and mentor designers to ensure high-quality work and professional growth. Act as a role model by demonstrating design best practices and championing user-centered design principles.
Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing, to align on goals, prioritize tasks, and deliver exceptional user experiences.
User Advocacy: Advocate for user needs by conducting or leveraging user research and data, ensuring design decisions are informed and aligned with user expectations.
Design Systems: Support the evolution of McAfee’s design systems, promoting scalability, consistency, and efficiency across teams and products.
Problem-Solving: Tackle complex design challenges with innovative solutions that enhance usability and satisfaction while meeting business objectives.
About you:
8+ years of experience in product design or UX, with a proven track record of delivering impactful designs.
Experience managing or mentoring design teams, with a focus on cultivating talent and fostering collaboration.
Strong skills in interaction design, visual design, and usability principles.
Experience working cross-functionally to align design strategies with product and business goals.
Portfolio: A portfolio, website, or other relevant link showcasing your work is required (please provide a viewable link and/or access instructions).
Experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization, with the ability to navigate and influence diverse stakeholders preferred
Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience preferred
