The Associate Director is a member of the CNS Marketing team. The person will be leading Copaxone while supporting the CNS team with Ajovy. The role will require regular and extensive liaison with marketing colleagues in various countries and EU HQ cross-functional colleagues. The Associate Director reports to the Head of CNS Europe.

How you’ll spend your day
  • Lead the performance of Copaxone, working closely with the brand team to develop and execute the brand strategy, including driving annual brand planning, developing operational plans, and creating alignment with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Support the CNS team with the marketing performance of Ajovy (time allocation up to 50%).
  • Oversee in-market execution and provide direct guidance to EU countries, maintaining regular touchpoints and follow-up on strategies and tactical execution.
  • Collaborate with EU cross-functional teams, including market access, medical affairs, market research, digital, finance, regulatory, legal, supply operations, health economics, clinical development, R&D, public affairs, and patient relations.
  • Develop omnichannel promotional/marketing campaigns, PR, and sales material across the brands to communicate their clinical value and features.
  • Engage and work effectively with global functional teams.
  • Plan, monitor, and steer the promotional/marketing budget.
  • Manage external scientific conferences (CNS) in line with Global and EU strategy, engage with external customers, and establish/maintain relationships with external experts where appropriate.
  • Build market knowledge in this field and inform people internally.
  • Monitor execution results of marketing/commercial strategies on a country level against plans and budgets.
  • Build market knowledge and relationships with key stakeholders across Europe.
  • Manage and contract vendors and professional services agencies for project execution.
  • Responsible creation for the promotional materials and all approval processes as defined appropriate SOP’ s.
  • Follow all policies and procedures and apply all other needed approvals.
  • Evaluate and maximize ROI on marketing projects/programs.
  • Ability to manage people and processes without a direct reporting structure.
Your experience and qualifications
  • 7 - 15 years of experience in Sales & Marketing within the European pharmaceutical industry
  • Bachelor or master degree
  • Strong understanding of the European Pharmaceutical business and local market differences
  • Proven track record of success gained in marketing of innovative products
  • Strong drive to achieve results with a regional team in close cooperation with countries and with the global team
  • Strong influencing, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Savvy and comfortable making recommendations using different digital channels and platforms
  • Collaborative leadership skills to influence without authority and work effectively with senior leadership
  • Pragmatic and willing to drive and support change
  • Able to work in an international changing and flexible environment
  • Moderate international travel (20-30%)
