We are looking for an experienced Business Applications Technology Sales Professional (TSP) with a passion for the UN & Development sector, who is keen to guide organizations through their CRM and Low Code journey. As the Business Applications Technical Specialist, you will work closely with the United Nations and Development Banks, addressing their comprehensive business transformation needs using our Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.
As a Business Applications Technology Sales Professional, you are a master of the CRM & Low Code worlds, bringing life to the amazing AI-powered vision of Microsoft in this space. While there is plenty of competition on standalone CRM providers, there is no one who has to completeness of vision that Microsoft does and your role as a TSP is to partner closesly with Solution Sellers, Account Executives and key partners to bring that vision to life for our customers.
Identifies and engages with customer technical decision makers, while engaging sales team and delivering/driving sales strategy. Leverages customer context, portfolio expertise, and deep technical or industry knowledge to build credibility with customers. Leads and ensures complex technical wins. Leverages knowledge of resources and engages product and support teams to remediate escalated technical blockers. Scales wins through partner in a sell-with environment by promoting the partner within the Microsoft ecosystem. Acts as a subject matter expert on a particular competition. Develops strategic cross-workload/subsidiary and account-level responses to specific market threats. Represents the customer by acting as a role model for leveraging various internal resources.

Technology Specialists IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.

As a Business Applications TSP, your responsibilities will include the following:
As a key advisor and influencer, you will lead discussions and decisions regarding all D365 modules and the Power Platform, including PowerApps, PowerPages, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio. You will assist customers in understanding and adopting Microsoft D365 and Power Platform solutions through business and technical consultations, demonstrations, proof of concept development, and by aligning appropriate solution partners, programs, and resources to meet customer needs effectively. Additionally, you will lead or oversee group training sessions or large-scale events (e.g., workshops, webinars) to educate customers, partners, and colleagues with your subject matter expertise in Microsoft solutions. Furthermore, you will monitor, respond to, and contribute as a thought leader to both internal and external tech community posts, establish and lead dynamic tech communities through calls, sessions, hackathons, etc., and serve as a mentor within the community.
The role involves applying and adapting sales methodologies (e.g., catalyst, challenger sales) to guide customers through digital transformation as a trusted advisor across solution areas. It includes using innovation to challenge solutions against changing technology (e.g., Power Apps). The responsibilities include adapting and extending architecture patterns across technologies/solution areas to meet complex customer requirements and driving integration solutions for industry-specific needs. The role also involves delivering assets that can be leveraged by others within the business, applying and customizing existing demonstration assets, and overseeing demonstrations (e.g., architectural design sessions [ADS], proof of concept [POC] sessions, pilots, hackathons) of solutions. The role positions solutions against competitors and leverages partner/customer teams as necessary to demonstrate capabilities and create programmatic frameworks that can be reused by the business. Additionally, it includes leading the review of partner demonstrations and supporting partners to ensure alignment with Microsoft standards.
: You will collaborate closely with the Business Applications Sales Specialist (SSP), customer account teams, and partners to translate the agreed-upon customer vision into a strategic implementation plan. Your responsibilities will include addressing and resolving concerns, preventing technical blockers, and validating a robust business case for investment. Additionally, you will simplify complex technology concepts to illustrate their business impact, ensuring a seamless customer journey from vision to realization. You will also play a primary role in responding to RFPs and delivering proposal presentations.
Develop and maintain relationships with partners, serving as a liaison between the partner and internal teams. Facilitate access to partner resources and processes, support partner technical capability by identifying skill and resource gaps, and provide ongoing feedback to internal teams to improve partner capabilities.
Be the voice of the customer by sharing insights, feedback, and best practices with internal teams. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to remove key blockers and drive continuous product improvements, ensuring customer needs and expectations are met.
Due to the global nature of our customers, this role will be expected to travel to key UN locations in North America, Europe and Africa on a regular basis. Expected Travel is 25-50%.
