Description
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to;• Analyse 3GPP requirements for new features and map them to the modem architecture. • Break down new features into blocks depending on the timing and hardware requirements and define interfaces between them.• Define use cases and create end-to-end message flows. • Analyse timing requirements.• Work closely together with cross functional teams (SE, RF, HW, FW) to make sure the concept fits into the system and firmware architecture.• Define test cases to support the verification process with log analysis and debugging.
Minimum Qualifications
- Solid understanding of 4G/5G basic features and their PHY CTRL related procedures (C-DRX, RA, DC, CA, BM, CSI-RS).
- In-depth knowledge of use-case and interface definition in UML.
- Strong knowledge of 3GPP cellular communication standards about RRC, MAC and PHY for LTE and 5G NR.
- Experience with Matlab, C++ and JavaScript or Python programming.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (debugging and fixing of defects).
- Ability to work in a team and excellent English interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in chip bring-up including the use of lab equipment is a plus
- Knowledge in Machine Learning
- MS in Computer Science or Electrical/Information Engineering with shown years of working experience or PhD in relevant field with proven working experience.
