Description
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:- Analyse 3GPP requirements for new features and map them to the modem architecture. - Break down new features into blocks depending on the timing and hardware requirements and define interfaces between them.- Define usecases and create end-to-end message flows.- Work closely together with cross functional teams (SE, RF, HW, FW) to make sure the concept fits into the system and firmware architecture.- Define test cases to support the verification process with log analysis and debugging
Key Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of digital signal processing and wireless communication.
- Experience with L1 / PHY control and PHY signal processing for cellular industry standard (5G NR and LTE).
- In-depth knowledge of use-case and interface definition in UML.
- Strong knowledge of 3GPP cellular communication standards about RRC, MAC and PHY for LTE and 5G NR.
- Experience with Matlab, C++ and JavaScript or Python programming.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (debugging and fixing of defects).
- Ability to work in a team and excellent communication skills (English language skills required).
Education & Experience
MS in Computer Science or Electrical/Information Engineering with seasoned years of working experience or PhD in relevant field with relevant years of working experience.
