- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience with network routing protocols, design and troubleshooting, with network equipment providers.
- Experience in programming language Python or Go.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in developing and automating networking products, technologies, software and protocols, and writing networking automation.
- Knowledge of the major phases and activities of a software test cycle and the types of errors that can be addressed by testing components and products, including knowledge of differences and considerations for each test phase.
- Systematic problem-solving approach with excellent communication skills and ownership.
- Knowledge of traffic engineering best practices and protocols including resource reservation protocol (RSVP), and fast reroute (FRR) and MPLS and protocols LACP, STP, RSTP, VRRP, UDLD, 802.1x
