In this role, you will be responsible for shipping world-class user experiences and act as the voice of our end-users. You will help with defining test plans, execution of manual testing, identifying opportunities for automation of manual test cases and developing and maintaining automated test suites for exercising various application features and continuously look for ways to improve and enhance system reliability, and performance. This role requires experience with both manual and automated test development and execution. Responsibilities include defining and implementing manual test plans, working with a team of engineers and existing automation infrastructure to adapt and expand automation test coverage, monitoring CI performance & test results analysis, maintaining reporting for test cases and results. You will be responsible for driving all the quality work you're doing and also be a strong advocate for quality in the overall Software development process. This position requires a self-motivated and dynamic individual with strong technical and communication skills who can contribute in a team environment. You should be able to communicate at a high level and dive into technical details with key partners or leaders. Your leadership skills will drive communication across multiple organizations, negotiate various asks and cultivate growth within the team.
- 2+ years of experience in software quality testing
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and software development lifecycle
- Ability to create test strategy for automated and manual validation
- Experience testing applications, image quality, or video
- Strong debugging and problem solving skills
- MS in CS/CE/EE or equivalent experience
- Experience with automated image comparison methods and practices
- Good understanding of image and video quality metrics and evaluation methodology
- Experience with Apple software ecosystem, including building automation using Swift, XCUI
- Familiarity with game development and game engines, i.e. Unity or Unreal
- Exposure to augmented reality (AR) or virtual reality (VR) application
