The primary role of the Manager, Software Development2 isworld classmobile applications, services and APIs for Venmo Mobile and related projects. This position requires

Your day to day:

  • Managing a rapidly evolving technology stack on a diverse set of platforms ranging from Android, iOS, Rest

  • Facilitating and driving key technology decisions with senior technology

  • front-endengineers, challenging them and helping them grow;

  • Partnering with product, technology, program management and analytics stakeholders to balance aggressive roadmap against engineering

  • Bring innovation to the table that helps in improving the resiliency of products youare responsible for, sell your ideas and be part of the

What you need to bring:

  • Experience in designing,implementingandmaintaininghigh performance, high availability, large-scale mobile

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to grasp and convey complex product requirements or technical

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work on concurrent assignments with different

  • products.

  • 8+ years' experience in Mobile Development

  • 3+ years of experience managing and growing engineering teams thatare responsible forlarge scale, high volume mobile applications.

  • Strong knowledge of common design patterns, algorithms, and object-oriented programming withexpertisein design patterns such as MVC and MVVM.

  • Solid knowledge ofKotlin, Swift, web services (GraphQL, REST/JSON);

  • skills.

  • Strong understanding of testing best practices and familiarity with at least one testing framework for Mobile Development.
