Roles and Responsibilities for Advance data analyst:

Using analytical and data mining tools, drill down the data gathered and identify key factors to attribute to insights

Performing analysis to assess quality and meaning of data

Communicating with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements

Perform adhoc analysis to support global business requirements across the lines of business

Proactively monitoring data to identify opportunities for additional analysis.

Recommend enhancements and reporting tools to do advanced analytics

Using tools and techniques to visualize data in easy-to-understand formats, drill-down capabilities to enable self serve

Good experience in SAP, SAP HANA and EDW, Oracle, and/or reporting tools

Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL

Finance experience

Should have good understanding on P/L reporting

Identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Comparing actual performance against budget/forecast and analyzing deviations.

Proficiency in financial planning software like Hyperion
